One of the last things we want is for our child to develop an eating disorder. These complicated illnesses can develop due to a huge range of factors and they are being diagnosed more frequently.

  • Eating disorders are said to affect around 8 percent of adolescent females.
  • 90% of eating disorders begin before the age of 20.
  • Males also suffer from eating disorders, but 90% of sufferers are female.
